How does the Free Plan work?
Every week, you receive 5 minutes of complimentary transcription. Audio is processed via our servers, and saved notes live in your signed-in account.
What is Lite?
Lite is the same product as Pro — live captions, rooms, cleanup — with a smaller quota: 300 minutes and 1,250 translation credits for 7 days, at $1. Buy it again when it ends (or renew while it is live) for a fresh 7-day term. Premium ASR still uses minutes faster. An active Pro or Team account is not downgraded by a Lite payment.
Is NotaFrog a note taking app or a transcription tool?
Both, and the note is the point. NotaFrog transcribes what you say and then hands back a note you can edit in a block editor — headings, lists, tables, images, tags and search — rather than a read-only transcript. Every plan includes the editor; the plans differ in transcription minutes, translation credits and whether you get a shared workspace.
What do I get on Team that I do not get on Pro?
A shared workspace. A workspace is created as a company (owner and member) or a school (teacher and student), notes saved to it are visible to its members, and an owner or teacher can turn a line of a note into a task with an assignee. The assignee sees it under My task and marks it done. There are no invitations, SSO or email notifications yet.
Where are my audio and notes saved?
Saved notes live in your signed-in account on NotaFrog’s servers. Audio is sent to a speech-recognition provider to produce a transcript and is not kept as a recording library. See the privacy policy for processors and retention.
What happens if I go over my monthly minutes?
We'll notify you as you approach your limit. You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time to add more transcription minutes for the rest of the month.
Can I cancel or upgrade my subscription?
Paid plans are prepaid by bank transfer and do not auto-renew. You can buy a new term from Account when the current one ends, or pay for a higher plan while one is live. Refunds are described in the refund policy.
How do refunds work?
There is no card on file. We correct duplicate transfers and plans that were paid but not granted. Unused minutes are not paid out as cash. Full detail is on the refund policy page.
